| Posted on: 08/12/2010 by Kevin Stack Greetings Brethren and Friends, This has been and continues to be an exciting week at Friendship Lodge. We have had the pleasure of bringing three more men into the brotherhood of Freemasonry and this Saturday will raise two more to the sublime degree of Master Mason and will follow with a Steak Dinner. This coming week, a large delegation of Master Masons will represent Friendship Lodge 763 at the Cave Degree in Tennessee. The Cave degree is a unique experience for both new Masons and those with decades of experience. Each year the degree is different and thus remains a new experience that never gets old. One of the highlights of the degree for new masons to the Cave degree is the opportunity to join the world famous Yellow Dog fraternity. This exclusive fraternity offers an experience unlike any other in masonry and all can say is that if you have never had the experience, then it is definitely a must. The Cave degree boasts delegations from not only across the country, but across the globe as well. Think of it as the unofficial UN of freemasonry with a good 'ole boy Tennessee twist. We hope to see you there.
Finally, brethren, be ye all of one mind; live in peace, and may the God of love and peace delight to dwell with and bless you. Amen. So mote it be.

The Lee County Scottish Rite Club is one of the most active in the state. We boast members from multiple lodges and even different Scottish Rite Valleys. EVERYONE is welcome!
We meet on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30PM at Baybreeze Seafood Restaurant in Sanford.
EVERYONE is invited! Whether you are a freemason or a member of the Scottish Rite or not, everyone is welcome and encouraged to come out and bring their family to join in on the fellowship and fundraising. This is not a dinner where we simply pass the hat and ask for money. Each meeting at least two brothers and their families bring gifts (usually other clubs members that aren't even signed up for that month also bring items) to be raffled off to raise money for the Club's scholarship program as well as other charities for the community.
These meetings are a great time for the families of freemasons to get together and meet one another and socialize and for prospective members and their families to meet the group that they may consider joining.
So whether you're a freemason or not, a Scottish Rite mason or not, or not even a mason yet at all, we'd love for you to come out and join us!

Shriners International
Shriners International is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth. There are approximately 350,000 members from 191 temples (chapters) in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Republic of Panama.
Shriners International supports Shriners Hospitals for Children, an international health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs.
Children up to age 18 with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care at Shriners Hospitals for Children and receive all services at no financial obligation to families.
